Russian President Vladimir Putin will be overthrown sooner or later. This will happen when the oligarchs finally understand that it is in their own interests.

This assumption was voiced by a political adviser and commentator, Jason J. Smart, in an interview for Novyny.LIVE.

Putin will be overthrown by the oligarchs

"Putin is 72 years old. At some point he will die. And one thing that allowed Putin to stay in power all these years is that he was able to successfully balance the oligarchs in Russia and the various factions within the Russian Federation," Smart said.

According to the expert, Putin is a key figure in avoiding conflicts and preventing hostilities on the territory of the Russian Federation. But it is worth understanding that after Putin this key figure will no longer exist. And considering the age, it can happen at any moment.

"Therefore, strategically, the wisest thing you can do is not just leave everything to fate, but rather move the case, sit back and make sure that Putin is removed, and your faction will become the new leadership of the country," the political technologist said.

He also added that there are signs that the struggle for power has already begun, or that the Russian leadership is preparing for such a scenario.

We will remind you that Putin exaggerates the losses of the Defense Forces of Ukraine during the offensive operation in the Kursk region in order to justify the inability of his own army to dislodge the Armed Forces from his region.

It should also be noted that Putin seeks to oust Ukraine from the grain market in order to replenish the Russian budget.
